Factually... (a) Technically things look generally bearish, but recent history shows the tendency for rebounds. (b) Conditions are currently looking notably oversold. (c) The private markets continue to expose their vulnerabilities, but there are a few positive signs underneath all the pessimism. Overall, per Callum Thomas, the high-level technical view is not a good look / ugly. We have a key opportunity for a rebound next week given many oversold conditions, support levels, and a historical precedent for rebounds and rallies even if it turns into a more prolonged bearish episode.
